A few weeks ago, we visited Halnaker Tunnel and resolved to return to hopefully get more Autumn colour next time.
A hurried decision on a sunny Sunday morning saw us heading back there, where we met a small problem getting parked. Parking done, we set off for the short walk to the Tunnel.
The number of cars at the car park lay-by was a pointer to the large number of walkers out and about, which I didn't want to include in the photos I wanted to take - particularly as they appear ghosty when you use slow shutter speeds.
I set up my tripod and switched on the camera and was greeted with a nasty surprise - I had not charged the batteries my camera uses, not even the spare I had exhausted at Brands a couple of weeks earlier.
I was therefore 'running against time' to get a few pics, as the available battery life was very small.
I got a few, but not really the best angle as I rushed to get something - not at my best rushing things, as thoughts and settings get muddled and are confused and not thought out properly.
Definitely a case of Lesson Learned ...............
