We went to Seaford specifically to walk up onto Seaford Head, as it leads towards the Seven Sisters and paths we have walked in the past.
It was a beautiful sunny autumn afternoon, with a slight fresh sea breeze, and wonderfully clear visibility all round. The slopes up from beach level are easily accessible from the seafront path, with several benches well placed to offer the chance to rest a while before continuing the upward path.
We continued over the top as far as being able to view the Seven Sisters from alongside the golf course, but did not go further as the slope earlier was enough for me nowadays.
Previously, a few years ago, we have walked the length of the Seven Sisters and back again having parked at the eastern end at Birling Gap. Very exhilarating walks and views.
The photo above was taken at the top of Seaford Head, looking West along Seaford seafront and towards Newhaven Harbour in the background.
