On a day off from work, we decided to visit Nymans Gardens, Handcross and then opted to move on to Chartwell, Westerham.
These two National Trust properties are wonderfully kept and presented for public enjoyment.
The gardens at Nymans are lovely and colourful, particularly in the glorious sunshine we have been enjoying recently.
Part of the old house still exists, while part only exists as a ruin - though it still makes for some great photos.
Chartwell was a fascinating dip into history, having been a home and a source of inspiration for Sir Winston Churchill.
No flash allowed when inside the house, so high iso setting necessary.
