Finally got out again with the camera. Weather has been a bit unsettled recently, but today was a really nice day. Sun came out to play at around 15 or 16 degrees and, with no northerly or easterly wind blowing it was quite a pleasant change from last couple of weeks.
The National Trust property at Nymans, Handcross, West Sussex is not far from home and has nice easy walks if you stick to the garden area rather than taking the woodland walks.
Opting not to lug the tripod around meant playing with ISO and shutter speeds to create the required depth of field for the various shots I planned to take.
I was very soon completely taken aback by the wonderful blooms and colours on display, particularly the rhododendrons.
There is wide variety on view around Nymans and a lot of interesting angles presented themselves as I wandered around. Some required me to wait a while for the sun to re-emerge from behind the occasional slow moving cloud.
