I was recently treated to a new camera, which had it's first outing at Brands Hatch just over a week ago, as my trusty 7d mkii had started to play up more than before during my trip to Kent a couple of weeks earlier.
However, I was itching to try it out on scenery as I was expecting great things with the quality of the increased pixel count and a few other improvements over my previous model. The Canon EOS 5d mkiv is reported as capturing great detail in shadowy areas and with the increased number of pixels I was keen to try the camera on landscape photos.
I was also in need of exercise and fresh air, so I opted to go for a long walk with the aim of taking some photos in the various local woodland spots that are now carpeted with bluebells.
I took the tripod with me, as I knew I would require a slower shutter speed while using iso100 to retain the best quality image possibility and to allow me great depth of field ( front to back clarity within my images).
Below is one early image from my first stop for the bluebells, with other later ones which I will upload at a later date being more pleasing compositionally and better overall quality - I am absolutely delighted with my new camera.
