I was lucky enough to be given a ticket to attend the Mini Festival at Brands Hatch in August, on a warm and sunny day.
Arriving there at lunchtime and parking inside the venue, under some shade, I was quite surprised at the large number of people in attendance. I had worked in the morning, but was there in time for first race after lunch which was the first I really needed to be seeing.
Mini Miglias were first on track and a terrific race ensued, with the lead bunch of 6 cars squabbling and changing places all around the Indy Circuit.

Races followed throughout the afternoon, with the event being well run and on time, with the various Mini classes providing great entertainment just as they usually do.

BMW Z4's provided a bit of relief from Mini racing for a while, nice looking cars but not the most exciting of races.

I will add further to the write up later .......
