Nymans, with insects & roses

As Nymans is not far from home, it is getting to be quite a regular haunt for me.

The other week, the Rose Garden looked inviting, but with too many visitors and not much sun it wasn't the right time.

Today I managed to get some pleasing shots.

There was plenty to keep me busy with the camera, with a colourful planting of Dianthus in the square of garden just outside the main courtyard.

The expansive gardens play host to a wide variety of flowers, some of which are very unusual.

I also managed to capture some more nice pics of insects on flowers. The bees were very busy, but I also caught a couple of different and currently for me, unidentified critters.

The Tradescantia and Geranium Magnificum both looked very colourful in the long border alongside the path that leads to the Rose Garden and passes the bookshop.
