As I start work late in the day nowadays, I ventured out for a spot of local photography. Surrey has some nice little villages and my main focus today was Betchworth.
The River Mole runs through the village, with an old brick bridge spanning the river to maintain travel links for the area. I have wanted to take photos of the bridge and surroundings for quite a while, as some days would be well suited to photos. I have never managed to be in right place for misty morning pics there, a plan for some future time.
Today was quite sunny and I achieved a few pleasing pics, exploring available angles.
At one edge of the village, there were a couple of rapeseed fields so I took a few pics with the polarising filter enhancing the colours.
On the way there and back, I drove through Walton on the Hill and Tadworth - both nice villages with plenty of colour on view.
The Church at Tadworth had a couple of trees in blossom and I tried my hand at some pics.
So, that was just a little outing but enjoyable. My main enjoyment comes from seeing potential photos and then capturing what I saw.
