Two Sunsets

I finally found time to photograph the sunsets at Littlehampton, both during low tide. The first was on East Beach, while the following evening I went to West Beach to explore more there.

At both locations, the low tide reveals stretches of wet sand to allow reflection of colours and any cloud formations while both have patterns and ripples left in the sand by the receding tide.

East Beach is just across the road from our new home, where I have the added advantage of being able to see the conditions developing and work out where to head for.

So, the first night was after a very clear day and therefore there wasn't any cloud to catch the colours .

Moving to West Beach for the following evening, I found that the stretch of wet sand was longer and wider and I was greeted by wispy white clouds to assist my composition.

The next plan will be to capture sunsets when the tide is higher and hope for reflected colours in the sea.
